The First Chair, which Giovannoni designed for Magis in 2007, proves that the designer is still a master of his trade. Chair First is stackable, it is suitable for in- and outdoors and its form appears floating and soft.

Chair First is being produced of a piece with a gas injection technique from polypropylene. The chair has been awarded the Designpreis der Bundesrepublik Deustchland (design award of the Federal Republic Germany), not least for the successful manufacture, which is appropriate for the material.
